Celebrate Coral Appreciation Day
Mayor Joe I. Rasco, proclaimed Coral Appreciation Day saying "Coral reefs are vital marine ecosystems that support an extraordinary diversity of life and act as natural coastal barriers for our island.”
We invite you to join us for an evening of discovery featuring an expert-led panel discussion on reef restoration, an inspiring gallery from our student artist showcase, and a variety of interactive exhibits and education.
Let’s come together to celebrate the reefs that help protect our shorelines from storm surges and beach erosion, support our local fishing and tourism, and provide a home to thousands of marine species.
Learn how responsible tourism, waste reduction, and active conservation can ensure these essential ecosystems thrive for generations to come.
Please join us on May 1st at 5:00 PM to celebrate; please share some information below to learn more! (RSVPs are not required, but appreciated)
