PADI AWARE FISH ID

  • Students for Coral Preservation 4000 Crandon Boulevard Key Biscayne, Florida, 33149 United States (map)

PADI AWARE Fish ID is a global marine conservation program focused on underwater biodiversity. Its mission is simple: teach volunteers how to identify key fish species and record accurate survey data so researchers can better monitor reef ecosystem health.

On this dive, our Students for Coral Preservation team will:

  • Identify local fish families, species, and marine life in real time

  • Practice underwater fish-counting and survey techniques

  • Record species abundance and habitat condition data

  • Submit findings to global marine conservation databases

This is a hands-on conservation dive where every diver and snorkeler makes a direct impact on ocean research.
