Find your flow, then give back to the ocean.

Students for Coral Preservation is teaming up with Soulful Movements for a morning of mindful movement and environmental action on the beautiful shores of Key Biscayne. This special community event is dedicated to protecting our local marine ecosystems while connecting with nature and each other.

All proceeds from this event go directly toward funding future beach cleanups, coral reef restoration initiatives, and community education programs hosted by Students for Coral Preservation.

Special Guest Instructor

Molly Birkholm

We are excited to be joined by internationally revered yoga and meditation expert, Molly Birkholm. She will lead us in a research-based yoga and mindfulness meditation experience proven to help reduce stress, improve sleep and overall wellbeing.

The Experience

Part 1: Morning Yoga Flow (10:00 AM) We’ll start the morning on the sand with a dynamic and deeply restful practice led by the instructors from Soulful Movements:

  • 40 Minutes of Power Yoga with Emi: We'll build heat, connect with our breath, and flow through an energizing sequence to the sounds of the ocean.

  • 20 Minutes of Yoga Nidra with Molly Birkholm: To close our practice, Molly will guide us through a restorative yoga nidra meditation, allowing the body and mind to completely unwind.

Part 2: The Cleanup (11:00 AM) After we’ve grounded ourselves, we’ll roll up our sleeves. Armed with gloves and eco-friendly trash bags (provided by us), we will comb the shoreline around the Biscayne Nature Center to remove plastics and debris that threaten our local coral reefs and marine life. Every piece of trash removed is a step toward a healthier ocean.
